Join guest Colin Seale as we tackle imposter syndrome, authenticity, and making sure all kids get the learning experiences they deserve. Colin is the founder of thinkLaw and is the world’s most fervent critical thinking advocate.

In this episode, you’ll hear:

  • What its means to ‘do you’ and how to push through fears and insecurities;
  • Why sharing our stories and writing is such an important act of healing for the world;
  • Techniques for pushing kids to deep, critical thinking while we’re all sheltering in place;
  • Some great early 90’s hip-hop references.

Welcome to a conversation about making love by making authenticity and breaking down imposter syndrome.

Colin Seale was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, where struggles in his upbringing gave birth to his passion for educational equity. Tracked early into gifted and talented programs, Colin was afforded opportunities his neighborhood peers were not. Using lessons from his experience as a math teacher, later an attorney and now a keynote speaker, contributor to Forbes, The 74, and Education Post and author of Thinking Like a Lawyer: A Framework for Teaching Critical Thinking to All Students (Prufrock Press, 2020), Colin founded thinkLaw, a multi-award-winning organization to help educators leverage inquiry-based instructional strategies to close the critical thinking gap and ensure they teach and REACH all students, regardless of race, zip code or what side of the poverty line they are born into. When he’s not serving as the world’s most fervent critical thinking advocate, Colin proudly serves as the world’s greatest entertainer to his two young children and a loving husband to his wife Carrie. ttps://www.thinklaw.us/about/

Courage

Together

I help people courage. In their lives, and in the world. And while I’ve been coaching humans through more courageous leadership, more courageous organizations, and more courageous living for two decades, you’re only just meeting me now. So how about we start with the intimacy of my weekly private love letters and see how they feel for you? After all — trust is best honed in relationship, not transaction. You’ll get an email every Friday, and you can easily unsubscribe at any time. See you there?

love.
