Erica Jordan-Thomas is currently a doctoral candidate in education leadership at Harvard Graduate School of Education. Erica has focused her doctoral studies on education entrepreneurship and system-level strategy that empowers school principals to effectively lead schools our students deserve.
Prior to her doctoral studies, Erica was a principal, assistant principal, instructional coach and high school math teacher in Charlotte, North Carolina. She is also Founder & CEO of EJT Consulting LLC, a consulting business focused on providing school leaders with quality learning experiences, supporting school systems in leading for equity, and coaching educators to launch their own consulting business for impact.
Erica is a native of Columbus, Ohio and proud alumna of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s in Textiles and Clothing. She holds a Master’s degree in Instructional Leadership from Relay Graduate School of Education. She currently serves as board chair of The Collective National Advisory Board, Teach For America’s Alumni of Color Association.
